Books.

I used to reread books all the time but then I was able to buy all the new books I wanted and since there were always new books, I stopped rereading books. Then the past few months I couldn't buy as many new books as I wanted. So I've been rereading books. Except most of my books are packed in boxes. There's one box that I opened for some reason and it had books in it. So I reread a bunch of those. Now I need to find books to read and I'm going to have to just bring all my books up to the porch I think. Then I can just open them all and reread everything I own. Well most everything. I don't want to read textbooks. Lol, just novels.

I need to also find the box that has my shadow falls books in it. I know it's labeled. It should be. But I want to reread the whole series. There's going to be a new book coming out I think next month. And I read everything last year so I "need" a refresher.

Basically I need my books!

June's Mystery Bag from Rainbow Honey

Here's my large mystery bag for the month of June. It's going to be my last large bag for a while. I changed my subscription to a mini so that I could try out Ipsy for a while. If I don't like Ipsy then I'll go back to the large.

The colors are pretty accurate. I'm not a fan of ice tea so I'm trying to sell the scented top coat. It smells just like ice tea with lemon to me. It's supposed to also have oranges but I didn't smell oranges. This will be released as part of the Summer Drinks collection that comes out next month. I really like Cuprum Veritas. It'll be a part of an upcoming (doesn't say if it's this year or next) precious metals collection! Thallo Bot is okay. I'm not a fan of frosts and this is a frost to me but RH calls it a metallic. This is part of the robot collection part 2 which comes out this year too. Then the final nail polish is Aqua Cristalina and it's a glitter topper. It doesn't say anything about it being a part of a future collection.

The two non polish items are the Summer Juice soap and Islands in the Sky perfume mist. Both are new items. Summer Juice is an older scent but starting next month there's going to be a collection of Clear Scented soaps. The soaps come in 6 scents and everyone got a different scent so even if you saw spoiler pictures, you wouldn't know what scent you would get. The Islands in the Sky is a really nice scent and I like the perfume mist bottle. Also you can reuse the bottle which is really awesome and if I ever actually use it up, I'll be putting other perfumes into the bottle. The scent smells like parrot bay with pineapple in it. Yuuuummmmy. So good.....

My 6th AND 7th Rainbow Honey orders.

I ordered my 6th order in April and never posted the pictures. I skipped ordering anything in May but I placed an order for June and got it Monday so I'm going to post pictures of both orders today. I'll also take pictures of my June mystery bag when I'm done and get that up today too.

Here are April's pictures

In the first picture is everything that was in my order. The box has two cuticle oil brushes to replace my brushes that came in my Pomelo and Pomme Rouge cuticle oils. The brushes were stiff and I had emailed RH asking if there was something I could do to fix it. She said washing it with soap and water and then drying it off should help but just in case she would send some extra brushes in my order. She did!

There's a Cranberry Sangria cuticle balm I ordered. They're on sale right now for $4 and I LOVE that scent. It was a freebie I received with my first order in November. I ordered the matching top coat but it was on back order so it shipped separately and included the cuticle balm. I had ordered a different cuticle balm plus received two cuticle balms with my December mystery bags but the Cranberry Sangria one has been my favorite and I've used it all up so I ordered a 2nd!

The mini April mystery bag is there and was free with my order. They sell for $10 but are free with orders of $65 and above and the value of them are over $15. Three mini nail polishes are $15 ($5 each) plus whatever the value of the other items are. I love the cuticle oil and the polishes but I've sold both of the lip scrubs, the lip balm from the mini bag (I opened and tried the one from my large bag) and the mini Eidolon polish. The color is great but I knew I wouldn't need that much of it. I have a FS plus it's a dupe of a Sally Hansen LE color from a few years ago that I already have.

Now for the nail polishes!!!

The top row:

Mint Flavor- I have and love this color so I ordered a mini back up BUT they sent me a FS instead. Awesome.
Konpeito!- I asked if instead of getting an April LE (I didn't like either one) could I get this instead and they said yes! This color is now on sale for $7. I suggest you run out and buy this but you don't have to run far, just to your internet capable device.
Explosions in the Sky- this was an older color, I think it's an older LE color. It's on sale for $7 and I don't know if I like it yet.
Suu- In March they released 3 shades as part of the Vault Collection (older discontinued colors) and The Clover Collection was from 2014 and Suu was from that collection. Suu has a ton of holographic glitter in it.

The bottom row:

These are all colors from the new La Patisserie collection.

Macaron De Corail- Mini for $5.
Pate De Pistaches- Mini for $5.
Rose Macaron- FS for $10.
Gelée De Fraise- FS for $10. They were running a promotion where you could get a free product from the new collection. I went with a 2nd bottle of this color. I love my pinks. Especially this shade of pink. I have so many nail polishes that are close to this shade. But I don't care. I want them all.
Cotton Candy Meringue- FS for $10.

June's order!

Last summer they introduced a collection called Summer Mixtape and it had 12 colors. There was side A and side B. I didn't really like any of those colors so I never ordered any of them. This summer they rereleased this collection PLUS 6 new colors called B sides. I loved all of those colors and that's what I ordered. The B sides were colors they had considered for last year and so this year, they decided to use them.

The first 6 colors in my picture are the B sides.

Gyrate
We're alone now
Bonus Track
My bestie
Blue Waves
I wanna love!

These are $5 for minis or $10 for full sizes. You can also order each collection of 6 as a group for $55, saving $5 or all 18 polishes for $160 saving $20. I didn't know if I wanted the Bonus Track color because there wasn't a close up picture of the bottle or a swatch but I figured just in case I did like it, I would order it as part of the 6 bottle collection. I'm glad I went ahead and did it. I like it!

The next two colors are the limited edition DUO for June.

Iara
Sereia Do Mar

Every month they do one or two LE colors but there is one shade that is the default free color for orders over $50 but they couldn't decide which shade to go with so they decided to do a duo for the month. So every order over $50 gets both colors for free. Or you can buy them for $10 for one or $15 for both.

My final bottle for this month is Lei Day which was the May LE color. I'll probably try this color out this weekend.

My manicure right now is Gyrate and Sereia Do Mar. Gyrate is REALLY neon and doesn't require a white base like so many neons do. It could be a one coater but I always do at least two and that's what I did here. Sereia Do Mar is three coats.

:&$(():)

The sunscreen that I said I liked from the sephora sun safety kit? It's $65 for a 2 oz tube. I can't afford that! I also was looking at my hands tonight and they just really are showing their age I think? Or sun damage. Idk. I think I'll also start applying sunscreen on my hands and maybe even my arms. My arms have a ton of freckles on them and I don't remember having that many freckles. I'm pretty sure I'm showing signs on sun damage. Or I'm paranoid. Either way, I'll be applying lots of sunscreen on ma body 4 days a week now. Well just my face, hands and arms because those are the only areas that is exposed when I'm on deliveries. And my cosmetics vest covers my arm down to the my elbow. I've been doing deliveries 4-5 days a week for FIVE years now. That's 4-5 days of sun exposure for at least 2 hours during the hours of 2pm and 6pm.

I need to go to bed and stop thinking.

Just apply the sunscreen! I have a ton of it now, lol. Not just all my samples but some in the car and some in various spots in our room including 1 in my purse!

Influenster

I signed up for Influenster last year but I wasn't very active on there. I created a new account last week and I'm going to try to be more active on it and hope that I get more boxes that way. But they give you surveys to see if they're going to send you something. And because I'm new, I have a ton of surveys right now. And OMG I've been answering questions for almost 2 hours. I started answering them on my phone on the way home and am still going. I was going to call my dad when I was done. But there's not an option to save and continue later so I just keep going thinking maybe soon, it'll finish. So far, soon hasn't happened. I think I'm just going to call my dad and finish later. I know that if I don't close the window for the website it won't lose my spot but I just figured there wasn't going to be a ton of questions.

Ipsy referral code!

I just signed up for my first Ipsy bag. I'm going to cancel the BB one and just go back and forth with them, maybe. Hopefully in the future I can see more good deals for BB.

Click that and join please...

I don't have any pictures of Ipsy bags or products. BUT there's a baby goat.

June's Birchbox!

I found a really awesome deal on a Birchbox subscription. If you signed up during the May promotion, your June bag was only $1. WHAT? I was so excited. I've been reading about both Ipsy and Birchbox for several years now and wanted to sign up but I always thought they were both mostly make up items. I don't wear make up on a regular basis. I don't even wear make up once a month. But for $1 I was going to get it no matter what was in the box. I filled out the questions and here's what I got in my June Birchbox.

My box was mostly... Not make up lol. I've been reading a ton of reviews and comparisons of both boxes the past few weeks and apparently Birchbox is more lifestyle/skincare boxes whereas Ipsy is more make up. So that's cool for me!

I am LOVING the hair tie. Seriously. It has been in my hair everyday since I got the box. It alone was worth the dollar. The perfume smells good but it doesn't seem to last very long. I've only tried the sunscreen once but I'll try it again for sure. It's the same brand as one that was in my Sephora sun safety kit but is a different type. This one is lotion and the one in the sephora kit is a serum. I haven't tried the leave in conditioner yet but I definitely will. I might try the BB cream, not sure. The eyeliner though? I have never been able to use eyeliner on myself. I can wear it if someone else puts it on me. But applying it myself? Forget it. You can't put it on while you're wearing your glasses and when I take my glasses off, I'm basically nearly blind. So I'll either give the eyeliner away or keep it for when someone else does my make up.

While I was packing our stuff to move, I actually had a small collection of make up just to have someone else do it or to use myself if we went somewhere I wanted to wear make up at. We didn't know where we were moving to and so I just went ahead and threw everything away. I would have kept it if I had known we were going to move in with J's parents, then I would have it for Jacie to do my make up with.

I've thought about trying out Ipsy just to see if I can get a few make up items to build up a small collection again. Maybe I'll keep BB a few months then switch it to Ipsy. I REALLY like the idea of getting all the cute make up bags from Ipsy, that is its main appeal for me.

My Sephora order.

Last month Sephora had a Sun Safety kit that was $32 and it was sold online and in stores. It's sold out online already but could still be found in either sephora only stores or sephoras inside of JCPennys. But the ones that were sold in JCPennys had less products in them but we're the same price.

I've been wanting to use more sunscreen when I'm working. Four days out of the week I do deliveries and I'm out in the sun for about 2 hours on those days. I'm always red on my nose and cheeks during the week. Once I've had a day off from deliveries that redness will usually go away. If I use sunscreen, I'm good. My grandfather and dad both had skin cancer and had to have spots cut out. My grandfather had it on his arms and maybe his face but not sure. My dad had spots on his face, so I'm trying to be proactive here and I definitely have room for improvement. I already use sunscreen on my face and body when I'm going to be in the sun all day so the next step is during deliveries.

When I saw the Sun Safety Kit, I was like maybe this will help me. It comes with 16 products, 15 have SPF and 1 is a sunless tanning product and doesn't have any in it. I've already tried out 3 of the products. These are also called deluxe samples so they're all small enough to bring on a plane or in your purse.

Everything came in the plastic travel case with the hot pink lining and I put all of the Sun Safety kit items in front of it. Here's the 3 I'm trying out right now.

I love the lip balm and the sunscreen. The eye creme? The product itself is fine and I guess it works as a sunscreen. I never had redness there so I can't say for sure if it works or not. But it's a great size and will last me a long time along with the lip balm. I think I'd buy the eye cream as a full size just because I think using an SPF eye cream is a great idea and it's the only one I've tried so I'd probably just stick with what I know. I don't know if I'd buy the lip balm. I have a ton of Softlips lip balms that I like just as much as this one and they're SPF 20 and both seem to help my chapped peeling lips WHEN I remember to use one or the other on a semi regular basis. Even just using a lip balm once a day seems to help my peeling lips immensely. I really like this sunscreen. It doesn't feel heavy and isn't noticeable when I sweat which is awesome. I sweat a lot during those two hours I'm outside and I'm constantly wiping my face and some sunscreens just are so noticeable when I'm sweating whereas this isn't. I'd definitely buy it.

Those are tinted so I'm not sure how they'll work. The one with the pink cap is the sunless tanning product so it probably won't get much use (if any) from me. The other three have SPF in them so I'll try it out but I don't know if they'd work when I'm sweating. Like if my regular sunscreen is sweating off me then I'd imagine that if I used these then I could end up looking splotchy because the color/tinting will be coming off. I might save these for like a day off when I don't plan on sweating like a shopping day where I'd be indoors mostly or maybe during the winter time when its not as hot.

Those are the other colorless products. Each one is slightly different. One is a serum, one is a spray that can also be used on the hair, there's something that is called or has yoghurt. I'm not sure which one I'll try next! I might try each one for a week so I'll need to pick out my next one by Tuesday. Maybe I'll go with yoghurt and look it up and see what is supposed to make it so great.

I wish that there was at least one more each of an eye cream and lip balm so that you could compare the two different ones. This was my first purchase from sephora and most products are out of my price range so I like the kits with various products so that I can try things out before committing to a full size expensive (to me) product. Also $20 of that $32 price tag goes to a... Skin cancer charity. I can't remember the name but that really appealed to me too with this product. The value of everything is supposed to be around $150!

I was also able to get some free samples with my purchase. Every purchase comes with 3 samples and you get to pick out what you want from a list and these are like foil packets or those little spray vials of perfume. I went with the 3 things all the way on the left of my picture. Then there are always codes floating around that you can use to get a deluxe sample of something. There was a hair product category, perfume, sunscreen (I skipped this completely since all the choices were in my kit), skin care and a whole bunch of other categories. I spent so much time looking all these up and finally decided on a leave in hair conditioner. The last sample I was able to get was my birthday gift. Sephora does a birthday gift for everyone and each year it's something different. This year the product was lip liner or crayon or something. It was a make up item I'd never use. I was going to just give it to Jacie buuuuuuuuuut when I went to put it in my cart I saw that I was actually able to choose what I wanted. I could choose the lip product or a Peter Roth skin care set. I went with that, lol. That's the orange and green products in the first picture. The orange is a gel face cleanser and the green is a eye gel mask. Both will probably last me forever. I tried out a little of the face cleanser once already and don't know if I like it yet and I haven't tried the eye gel yet. Oh and I'm also trying out one of my little samples. It's in the silver packet and is a eye gel that you put on under your eye cream. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do but I can tell where I've applied it at as it creates a line in my skin, like its tightening the skin maybe. I'll look it up before I decide if I like it or not.

Well Kreasy is shaking because of the thunder and this post is long enough so I better go.

Mario Badescu

Last weekend I signed up for a bunch of free samples on different websites. One of those at Mariobadescu.com which is a natural skincare company. You answer some questions so they can figure out what skin type you have and then eventually you get a response back and you find out what skin care regimen you should follow along with the products you should use and they let you know you're going to get some samples of those products.

I looked up samples from previous years and they looked like travel size samples to me but when I got my samples today it was mostly foil packets and 3 in plastic containers. Which is completely fine, it was all free! I just wanted to put that out there in case other people do the same thing and see the older pictures (some were from 5 years ago) and also think they're going to get some good sized samples.

So I signed up for these about a week ago and received my package today so the turn around time there is awesome. It's the first samples I've received out of everything I signed up for last weekend.

There's everything I got. They sent a variety of 8 products with the eye cream having 2 samples. I'll probably be able to get 3-5 uses out of the foil packets (I usually do with face products) and then no clue how many I'll be able to get out of the plastic containers. The pots are awesome, I'll be able to reuse them for nail art glitters when I'm done. I don't think I can open the Aloe Lotion bottle though. It came with a product guide and a product application guide based on my skin type. I think the application guide is awesome because I was looking at all the samples first, looking at the directions and wondering which should I use first, how do I even use the aloe lotion (it's actually a liquid and not a creme) or when would I use the drying cream.

Everything was on the guide except for the Botaincial Exfoliating Scrub which based on the directions, I think I could just use it instead of the Strawberry Face Scrub.

There's a close up of the directions for everything. I didn't get a sample of the Enzyme Cleansing Gel so I'll use one of my regular face cleansers while I'm trying all of these products out. I like that the moisturizer has SPF in it. I've been trying to use a sunscreen lately to help with the redness (sunburn I guess) I get across my cheeks and on my nose when I do deliveries (four days a week). I don't like that none of their eye creams have any SPF in them. I have a sample of sunscreen from Sephora that is for the eye area and I think that's great. I don't get sunburned there but the eye area is prone to wrinkles because of the sun.

Here's some closes up the samples and the back of the packets!

I don't know when I'm going to try these but after I'm done using them I will post a review. I'm just trying to use up some other samples first.

May's Mystery Bag from Rainbow Honey

I just got June's bag last Friday and I haven't posted May's yet! Well I better do that. I don't have pictures of June's yet so that might not show up on here for a while, lol.  But I promise I'll get pictures up before I get July's bag.

The label says Featuring Summer Drinks July 2014.

Here's everything together. There were 3 polishes again and I hope they continue with that. I think more people prefer that and I know there were complaints when they sent out 2 polishes and 4 nail/skin care products. October, November and December were all just 2 polishes. I'm not counting base or top coats! But I think they were and now they're not! So it's an improvement and it shows they do listen. Like the solid perfume they did in December. It was in a tin and you would have to scoop it out to put it on you. In March they introduced the solid perfume balm which I prefer but in a scent I like, I didn't the Rose. HOWEVER!!!!! If a solid perfume was made with the May's cuticle balm scent, I'd buy it. So on that note, what the heck did I get??

-Twisted Ice Tea Cooling Gel- I won't use this. I don't use cooling gels often and I don't like ice tea so I'm leaving this sealed until I can sell it.
-Piña coco-colada cuticle balm- I love this. I love this more than Pomme Rouge and Cranberry Sangria! If/when they release other products in this collection (summer drinks July 2015) I'll be buying more of these cuticle balms plus maybe a lotion.
-Mojito Classico Perfume- I get nauseous from anything minty. Smell or consuming it. I can chew a piece of mint gum but I have to spit it out after 10 minutes or less because I'll get sick. I just sold this the other day. (along with things from past bags)

Let's move on to the colors!!

-Juicy Orange Pop is pretty. It's sheer and works best over white or lots of multiple coats.
-Laguna Grande is a really pretty green blue color. It looks blue in the bottle but once on the nails, the green shows up.
-Neon Yoshimi is a neon (duh) glitter topper. It has pink square, yellow/green square, black square and white square glitters in various sizes along with iridescent hex glitters. There are also pink hex glitters. The white glitters are the smallest, there are two sizes of both pink and yellow glitters and one size of black. The small pink and yellow are the same size then the big squares in pink, yellow and black are the same size. The yellow glitter looks metallic yellow in the bottle but over certain colors it looks green. It's the same yellow that was used in Magic Cake.

I think I like all 3 colors. I love Laguna Grande. I didn't like Neon Yoshimi at first but then I tried it over Laguna Grande and liked it. I've also now seen it over other colors and I really do like it now. I also like Juicy Orange Pop but I think it's just going to be annoying because it's so sheer.

I don't have any good pictures of Laguna Grande and Neon Yoshimi, just a few I took at night in bad lighting. I only swatched Juicy Orange Pop and didn't take a picture.

There was a previous collection called The Robots Collection (I think it came out early 2014 but it could have been in 2013) and it had 5 frost colors and their names ended in Bot and then there was a black and white square glitter topper called Yoshimi. We've now had 3 colors in our mystery bags this year that are apart of the 2015 Robots Collection which I think is just awesome for whenever the collection is released. I'll already have 3 out of possibly 6 colors. Rosy Bot was from January, Neon Yoshimi from May and then in the June bag was a green frost called Thallo Bot.

Samples!!

I have lots of samples coming my way soon. I have a bunch from Walgreens (hair care and mascara and...? I don't remember what else), some dog treats and cat food, Lipton single serve teas for bottled water, shampoo and conditioner from Garnier, some skin care samples from Mario Badescu and some perfume samples. I'm not sure what else I've signed up for. But I'm excited!! I'm also possibly getting a Voxbox from influenster which would be full size items but I don't know if I'm getting one for the survey I just did. We'll see.

Some of my samples.. Some were cheap or free full size products.

Walmart box is $5 every season and is a subscription.
Target box was $7 and these tend to come out seasonally but it's not a subscription.
Birchbox had a promotion for $1.
